As I woke, I heard that the purpose of exploring the darker side of Christmas in the “THIS IS CHRISTMAS” series has been to expose its mixture and its origins in Babylon. If you have missed any articles in the series, please refer to the list at the end of this post.
First, I must speak to the extreme amount of discord among believers that revolves around the controversy of Christmas. It grieves my heart sooooooo much to see people on both sides of the divide being critical, judgmental, unloving and unkind. Mockery and name calling is never acceptable behavior for His Holy Nation. I was on the receiving end of this, but what grieves my heart even more is when I see those loathsome qualities manifesting in the majority of people touting a similar message to what Yeshua gave me: “The mixture grieves My heart. Come out of Babylon and lay down Christmas, for I will have a pure and spotless Bride. Christmas will be the Golden Calf of America.”
Folks… THE BANNER OVER HIS BRIDAL COMPANY IS LOVE!!! Please be kind and loving above all… to everyone… always… no matter what side of the great divide you are on. Yeshua told His disciples that people will know that you are My disciples by your love for one another (John 13:35).
The truth is you and I have no stones to throw in these glass houses. Currently, all of us fall short of the glory of God. All of us are “in process” in one way or another. We need to give fellow believers room to search out the Scriptures and hear from the Spirit of the Living God themselves, else there will be no genuine heart connection or change. BTW – Just because something makes a person angry does not mean that the other person isn’t being led of the Spirit of the Living God. We can give others freedom to live and move and be as He is leading them, at the same time trying our best to be obedient to what He is asking.
The Almighty One is bringing His house into His order – His Kingdom Order. Your flesh may resist yielding to the requirements of coming into His order, but as your spirit yields to His Spirit, you will line up with the rule of His Spirit and the spirit of His Word.
Our Beloved is not cruel in any way, shape, or form. He is the One shaking Christmas to its core, so that only His Kingdom remains (Heb 12:27-29). He is the One that is vomiting out the lukewarm mixture involved when His believers celebrate Christmas (Rev 3:16). He is the One that knows, and has preserved the records, that Christmas comes out of Babylon, and its root is sensual, worldly and demonic (James 3:15).
If purity in worship wasn’t so important for the coming forth of His Bride, there would be no battle. I watched as a Buddhist friend seemed to have more peace than I did for a season, so I inquired of the Lord. He told me that the enemy has no need to mess with someone already entangled in a false peace. Be encouraged. If there’s a battle raging in and around you, then someone is fighting with and for you, so you can be made just like Him – golden. If we set our hearts on Him, He will bring us into the most humble place of all where we will no longer fall short of the glory of God.
LOVE reminded me of an old article I had written for U.S. News & World Report about Christmas in Japan (which never got published until today). He reminded me that Buddhist Japan has probably the most accurate expression of an ancient Yuletide Season due to their dropping any religious pretense; and thus, they delight in the sensual pleasures and material goods that Christmas brings. We should also note that the Land of the Rising Sun sheds light on the genuine nature of Yule and a Yuletide/Christmas Season, because Yule’s (i.e. Christmas’s) origins are sun god worship. We can declare “Don’t take Christ out of Christmas” all we want, but this Christmas Season we are beginning to see Christ taking Himself out of Christmas. For people who love Yeshua (Jesus) with all their heart, soul and strength, it will be increasingly difficult to participate in Christmas. This has been happening since the turn of the century, but now it’s going to ratchet up a quark or two. Please get out your Bibles and open your prayer closets to hear His heart on this matter. The Lord loves you and will only lead you in the Way, the Truth, and the Life that’s best for you in the long run. NOTE: I yield to LOVE who is asking that I reveal the darker side of Christmas this season in a series called “THIS IS CHRISTMAS.” Personally, I prefer to focus on the King of kings and His Kingdom.
WARNING: This series will shake your man-made and religious traditions to the core, if you are a Christian. If you are not a Christian, it will confirm what you already know deep down inside. I have found when I, as a Christian, admit the historical and Scriptural accuracy as it relates to Christmas, those who are not Christians are pleasantly surprised. They laugh and it creates an open dialogue. When pagans, witches, Hindus, Buddhists, Satanists, etc run into His unconditional love that is joined with a serving of His Truth, I’m seeing walls come down and His light and love illuminating their world.
We will start out with some of the more tame topics. Then strap on your seat belts folks, because it’s a rough roller coaster ride that’s going to take us literally to the depths of hell and to the heights of man building a name and kingdom for themselves.

I am laying down christmas this year. How does one tell your family, friends and church this? There is bound to be questions when i dont participate as in the past. Ive shared with a few…its been a challenge. Prayers and Tips would be so appreciated.
The best answer that I have found is: “I am going to do what Jesus did.” See John 10:22-23.

The best quick answer I have found is telling people that I am going to do what Jesus did, then refer them to John 10:22-23. Let them know that John 8:12- John 10:42 is the passage that speaks of what Yeshua (Jesus) did during Hanukkah.
