COALS OF FIRE FROM THE BLAZING NEW WINE

Who would have guessed that one short and sweet reference to Yeshua’s (Jesus) celebration of Hanukkah in John 10:22-23 is a major key to so many kingdom mysteries? Actually, there’s a major chunk of Scripture where Yeshua is at the Feast of Dedication – John 8:12 to John 10:39. (FYI – Most ancient texts puts the passage about the woman caught in the act of adultery during the Feast of Tabernacles (John 8:1-11).) We also have two fairly accurate historical books to go by. They are called First and Second Maccabees in The Apocrypha. The events surrounding the first Hanukkah as well as Yeshua’s celebration of Hanukkah in Scripture foreshadow the pouring out of a blazing new wine in our day.

So let the coals of fire from the blazing new wine of Hanukkah go forth from YHWH and be scattered upon your earth and mine. Let His judgments be executed, so we will know I AM. Don’t forget that the Ancient Hebrew Word Picture for the word “judge” communicates that the Judge is the Door of Life – Yeshua. He only judges things that hinder love, life and light:

• “O LORD, I have heard Thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive Thy work in the midst of the years, … in wrath remember mercy. And His brightness was as the light; He had horns coming out of His hand: and there was the hiding of His power. Before Him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at His feet. He stood, and measured the earth: He beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: His ways are everlasting” (Habakkuk 3:2,4-6 KJV).

• “Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because He was wroth. There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under His feet. And He rode upon a cherub and did fly: and He was seen upon the wings of the wind” (II Samuel 22:8-11 KJV).

The cherub or cherubim that God is riding upon this Kingdom Day is made up of wings of God’s end-time Melchizedek Army who fly by the Spirit of the Living God together. These kings and priests of the Most High God are a New Living Creature. They are returning to their primordial state where Adam and Eve lived and moved and had their being before the Fall, except better. They will have been redeemed. In their fullness, they will be a Full Age or Mature One New Man in Christ being complete morally, complete emotionally, complete mentally, complete in labor and complete in growth. Know that His coals of fire are His coals of love: “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame” (Songs 8:6 KJV). Also, know that the coals of fire from the blazing new wine of Hanukkah have been created by Him: “Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals of fire…” (Isa 54:16), and within the fire of discipline are the embers of restoration. There was a fire of coals at both Peter’s denial and his restoration (John 18:17-18; 21:9). Please note that His judgments are disciplines until His final judgment.

Hear He… Hear He… Hear He… Yeshua is even now gathering set apart hearts that have been washed by His blood. He is carrying willing hearts to His Great Feasts of Love, which are His Biblical Feasts. Here’s the catch. It’s for willing hearts only. Will you forsake all, but Him?

During Hanukkah, Yeshua risked life and limb to go up to Jerusalem to celebrate this particular feast with believers. Why? Why did Yeshua choose Hanukkah as the time to break every man-made tradition (i.e. law) that could apply when He healed a man born blind? Why did He choose Hanukkah to fulfill perhaps the truest sign that He was the Messiah?
