lies in heart - true spirit of christmas

Christmas is a holiday steeped in lies. From the actual day people celebrate Jesus’ birthday (Dec 25th) – to – the name of this winter holiday (Christ-mass) – to – Santa Claus is a web of lies. You can (and many do) justify it all due to the charming emotional cocktail sold to everyone by the merchants, but many people still walk away with a deception and debt hangover when all is said and done.

There’s nothing innocent or white to any lie. It’s the truth that sets all of us free (John 8:32). Jesus tells us that the devil is “a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44). Christians have sought to minimize or ignore the historical dark link between Satan (i.e. the devil) and Santa Claus. Every Christmas Season we are told to believe in the Spirit of Christmas, then Santa is referenced => Many Christians have tried to personalize this spirit as the Holy Spirit, but it’s not. Its make-believe… just like wishing that Christmas would be like it used to be =>

Question: Do you encourage your children to lie to you and others, or do you encourage them to tell the truth? A Christian should question anything that is based on lies and deception, for these vices are not of the Kingdom of God:

• “DO NOT LIE TO ONE ANOTHER, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him” (Colossians 3:9-10 NKJV).

• “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and WHOEVER LOVES AND PRACTICE A LIE” (Revelation 22:14-15 NKJV)

Sowing lies in the fabric of our children’s souls instead of God’s Kingdom has many and diverse consequences, like not having the right to the Tree of Life nor entering through the gates into the New Jerusalem. Notice that Revelation 22:14-15 above does not specify if one is a believer or not.

Where are the radical ones sold out for His glory?!!! Where are the ones that L-O-V-E the LORD God with all their heart, soul and strength?!!!

• “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love” (John 15:10 NKJV).

• “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:2-3 NKJV).

• “This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it. For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.” (2 John 1:6-8NKJV).

It covers every argument that you have ever heard about Christmas.

About Robin Main

Robin's premier quest is to love people and love God with all her heart, soul & strength, because without love we all are nothing. After making a vow to Jesus's face during a personal epiphaneous appearance, she wrote a book -- SANTA-TIZING: What's wrong with Christmas and how to clean it up" to share the mysteries she discovered while searching for where Christmas comes from. There are revelations in SANTATIZING that you will not find anywhere else. So throw away the template for Christmas books and come walk on the kingdom side in an examination of America's most loved holiday. Critical thinking is a must while looking through this lens of history and Scripture. You'll be intrigued and enlightened. What's wrong with Christmas? Plenty. This book shines light on various troubling issues in celebrating a Christian Christmas. How to clean it up? This will be determined by you and your family. Since we have an abundance of traditions, memories, and reasons to stay just the way we are (and possibly miss out on becoming part of His Pure & Spotless Bride), SANTA-TIZING primarily explores the valley of the shadows. Please know that in God's Kingdom no person is forced to do anything against their will. Give em heaven!!!

The true church of God, based on truth, has always existed through the time since Christ was on this earth. It is a small flock and scattered as scripture mentions.

Actually revelations about how Christianity today is steeped in error all the way around was brought to the airwaves and in print over 80 years ago by Herbert W Armstrong. Though after his death, when that same error crept into the church he was associated with, there is still a remaining part of that church that carry on (still on the airwaves too), rejecting the very things (Christmas, Easter, Sunday keeping) that crept into the early church after Christs death and resurrection. Constantine, the council at Nicea and others shifted truth to error, leaving those who did not conform to the shift as recipients of persecution, even unto death. At Christs return,in God’s Kingdom, this will all be changed and the scriptures that Robin Main so aptly quotes about truth and keeping the Commandments (yes, even the 4th commandment) will replace and forever end the mindset today which bases Christian observances on error and lies. With God and Jesus Christ, returning to earth and setting up the Kingdom of God, truth will reign.
