PURE OIL OF THE WISE VIRGINS

Don’t let anyone steal your oil!!! This message is coming through loud and clear in this hour.

Last year, priests in Jerusalem lit a menorah using pure olive oil for the first time in nearly 2000 years. (Please refer to the PURE OIL MIRACLE article below.) This year an ancient artifact found on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem may have ended centuries of debate regarding the appearance of the Temple Menorah that stood in the Holy Place.

Archaeologists are hailing this ancient clay shard as a significant discovery, because it was found on the Temple Mount itself. They say that the 1000+year-old potsherd can be dated back to the Byzantine rule over Jerusalem, which started with the Emperor that brought massive mixture into the church – Constantine. While Exodus 25:32-40 are the original instructions of the Temple Menorah that reveals which materials to use, how to form the Menorah and what designs to incorporate, it does not reveal if the branches were round or straight. This potsherd fragment recently found by the Temple Mount Sifting Project clearly depicts a menorah with STRAIGHT branches.

“As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘The VOICE OF ONE crying in the wilderness: “PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD; MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill brought low; the CROOKED PLACES SHALL BE MADE STRAIGHT and the rough ways smooth; and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’ ” (Luke 3:4-6 NKJV).

“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and MAKE STRAIGHT PATHS FOR YOUR FEET, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed” (Hebrews 12:11-13 KJV).

It’s all about the Light of the World – Messiah Yeshua the Mature Head of the Body of Christ and His Mature Body – the lights of the world (John 8:12; John 9:5; Matt 5:14), and their oil.

The “voice of one crying in the wilderness” is the one leaning on her Beloved: “Who is this that comes from the wilderness, leaning on her Beloved?” (Songs 8:5). It’s the one whose heart cry is: “Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your Name is ointment poured forth; therefore the virgins love you” (Songs 1:3).

Becoming part of God’s Pure & Spotless Bride doesn’t just automatically happen. There are ten virgins in the first parable of Matthew 25. Virgins are those who believe in the gospel of salvation through the incredible sacrifice of the Blood of the Lamb. The gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew 25 tells us that there are five wise and five foolish virgins. The thought I’d like to leave with you today is about your oil. When the Bridegroom came, the five wise virgins had oil in their vessels while the foolish ones did not (Matthew 25:2-4).

.

I went to an Ian Clayton Conference in Denver November 27-29, 2015. It was excellent in many ways, but what shocked me is so many believers were acting like spiritual vampires sucking out other people’s oil. We received some good instruction from the speakers to expand our spirits, and don’t let anyone take what they have not earned.

.

This is a time when darkness covers the earth and deep darkness the people (Isaiah 60:1-3). Now is the time to rise and shine; and you need your lamp full of oil to burn brightly. So… Don’t let anyone steal your oil!!! Don’t let anyone steal the reservoir of the oil of His Presence that you have meticulously stored up spending time in His Presence and doing what the Father is doing.
